Coffeetrackworld- I'm after a grinder for use with my gaggia espresso machine. Vey small volume- about 4 shots a day, don't want too much extra worktop clutter. Any recommendations or warnings against?

Cheers.

I tend to just use a bit of emery cloth. Just be careful not to go at it too hard otherwise the heat from the friction can distort the taste.

It can be hard to get small burr grinders. We use a Rancilio Rocky in the office, which has done eight years or so without a hitch.

Much better build quality & grind for the money than most. Only faff is changing grind between say espresso and cafetiere is a pain as there are no presets. The up side is there are no presets so infinitely variable to get it just right for your machine!

I've got one of those^ Ugly as sin it is and the Go button fell off the first time I used it ๐Ÿ™‚

Allegedly the cold war designed casing contains wonderous internals used in much prettier packages costing much more. Works very well.

The classic brazillian beans they do make a pretty decent espresso too.
