I have a PDF file that is a garden drawing, which printed on A4 is unreadable.
Ideally it needs to be printed off on either A3 or 4 x A4 sheets, do staples or any other high street printing shops offer this service ?
Cheers
Yeah - most KallKwiks and the like will be able to print A3 colour from a .pdf on a flash drive.
(Ohh and A3 isn't 4 x A4, it's 2 x A4 😉 )
Sorry, I meant either A3 or 4 x A4 which would be bigger 🙂
4 x A4 is A2
So it is twice the size of A3
And less likely to be printed on the high street but lots of specialist printers could do it no bother.
I doubt Kall Kwik would be too keen on patching one together to make it A2 but you could ask - if they aren't busy they may well do it.
Yes I know the sizes, but the guy ideally wants 4 x A4, as each A4 sheet is a broken down section of the garden drawing. 🙂
If you took in the document split into the four pieces then yes they could do it dead easy. If you wanted them to split it up they would probably charge you studio time for doing it.
Isn't it possible to do this from Acrobat reader anyway - as long as the PDF wasn't generated on A4 you can just zoom to a bit you want to view then in the print dialogue select Print Range:Current view and Page Scaling:None.
What you wanting pictures of Gary Glitter for anyhow?
I have been known to display a big pdf, zoom to the top left corner, print screen, zoom to top right corner, print screen and so on then sellotape the lot together to make a big picture.
