The old Karcher has died, will use it mainly for washing the car and forcing the grease out of the bearings on my bikes. What's good?

I have a Bosch one which cost about £80.00 (can't remember the exact model) but it's quite good.

I've had good experience with a Lidl cheapie; 39.99 and very capable so far.

WI have wickes one which was about £25 and resisted all attempts by the ex to burn it out, which is a pretty strong recommendation.

One with a metal pump. Cheapest ones have plastic pumps. About time companies making sub standard shit were made to pay for their landfill and recycling mess.

Metal pump = shredders Nilfisk.

Thanks all, looks like shredder's recommendation is winning so far.

Nilfisk here. A few years old now but still brilliant. Metal pump, fair price.

Inspired by this thread I bought the compact 110 shredder recommended and have thoroughly cleaned 100m2 ifblock paved drive.

Not the most fun activity bumpy way better than using a broom and bucket of bleach..!
