Does anyone else allow too much time for getting stuff together before a big ride, then sit around waiting for the off?
So long as the bike is in one piece I know I can be ready to go in the time it takes to fix sandwiches and check the forecast. But if it's a big ride I tend to do this about two hours before I need to, then sit around waiting and posting rubbish topics on internet forums...

Usually i'm recovering from a hangover as the 'big ones' mean a night in hotel/B&B and some beers with the lads.
