Had this damn lurgy for a week now, aches and fever have gone but cough & general weakness remain. When can I get out on the bike again? What's the general consensus on not doing any damage to oneself by riding?

Slightly OT but i was pondering the word lergy today, I wonder if it comes from alLERGY?

I usually find getting out and sweating it off actually helps

Had the lurgy too. Still not got my appetite back but no aching any more. Just a bit of a cough.

Went out on Sunday (a toughie in Tod) and again today (few laps of Stainburn reds) and I really felt it today, legs were aching when I set off!

Best thing to do is get out I think, just wrap up warm. The tod ride had 2700ft of climbing and even though I was jiggered after I finished, I felt like it cleared my head and chest.

I've had it. Went out on the MTB yesterday and confirmed I still have it. No power in legs and no lung capacity ๐Ÿ™

What are the symptoms of this? Been feeling lousy today no energy afternoon dozing on the sofa. Is this my ticket out of the extended family new years Eve thing?
