Ok, so i'm in my third week injured now and i'm shitting 2/3 times a day compared to once every day...

Diet is the same, only difference is i'm not working and not getting much excercise, is it possible that my body is gettig rid of excess food as my body is not demanding it for energy?

Boredom?

When I had a summer job cleaning swarf out of machines in an engineering factory I had about 4 poos a day for at least 20 mins each just to use up time.

Its more likely that you are:
a) Bored and eating more; or
b) Bored and so thinking that you need to poo when really you don't.

Of course a true scientific test would require some scales, desiccator and a bomb calorimiter 🙂
(might stem the boredom)

Not taking any medicine.

Not eating more.

but bored stoopid.

one thing i've noticed is the consistancy.

before it could be a bit random but at the moment they slide out in a very satisfying way.

oh, taking calcium and magnisium tabs...

Best take a photo and post it up here so we can examine it and give a better diagnosis.

Maybe there's been a bit of a queue building and it's just now being processed, do you eat a lot of red meat?

Pooing post-hernia op was interesting. I couldn't 'encourage things along' for the first few days, so just had to sit there and let things happen in their own sweet time...

Mobility or lackof can affect your bowels. I know your not on any medication, but Codeine Phosphate constipates big time on certain people. I always encourage a high fibre diet.

I snapped the radius and ulnar bones in both arms when I was 17. I went from 2 times a day to once every 2 days, nothing to do with the fact I couldn't wipe my own arse...
