Doing the BC Bike Race in July and don't want to cart around my DSLR. Any recommendations for a decent compact for < £200?
Wi-Fi / NFC would be nice, and something with good battery life between charges. Not too fussed about video, needs to be reasonably robust to stand being chucked in a camelbak every day for a fortnight.
Any real-world experiences / advice appreciated, cheers.

Wex Photographic have always been good to me in the past so my suggestion is to start there.

Given that you use a DSLR I'm kinda surprised that you'd consider a point and shoot so my immediate thought is to try and find something along the lines of a Canon G12 on the second hand market. After a quick glance, for around £200 I would go for one of these if I could find the extra £30.
