One of our downstairs radiators need bleeding often and when the CH pump kicks in you can hear air bubbling in to it. There is no obvious leak but the downstairs pipes are set into solid floors so it may not be obvious.
Is this a definitely a leak and any suggestions for fixing it without digging up floors? I've already tried putting leak sealant into the system via the header tank.

Cheers

Has your system always had this problem or is it a new development?

We've always had one radiator need bleeding on a weekly basis since we moved into the house.Recently has a new system and combi installed, unprompted, the plumber asked if we ever had any problems with air in the system, and pointed out it was due to a rather poor layout of the original system and header tank arrangement.

We moved in in January and it had the problem then and it had obviously been a problem for a while as the radiator was corroded at the top.
