How hard is it to cancel someones account? I rang up last month to cancel my phone and broadband package due to moving house last month. I was told that the last payment would be taken at the end of June due to paying a month in advance. I got my forwarded mail saying I owe them money??? I rang up and got told oh you only requested to cancel your broadband. To which I was confuzzled as generally you don't want line rental in a property you don't live in. All I can say is call centres in India 'kin useless!!!
yeah. I've found the service to be great but as soon as you try and talk to someone about something it's a nightmare.
I think they do it on purpose, I've considered changing a few times but it's so hard to talk to someone about cancelling I'm still there.
I moved a while ago - after they pissed me off changing contracts without notice & overcharging (just found a new provider & asked for a migration code, went pretty quickly)
They still owe me 25 quid but it's like swimming in treacle dealing with them so written off to experience. They're owned by something bigger now aren't they? - suspect that was the start of the slippery slope.
I believe they are part of tiscali group. I think all this outsourcing to India is absolute dog egg, it's a total nightmare getting anywhere.
