Well a pigeon has started building a nest in the tree in the front garden, now if I leave it we're going to get eggs, little pigeons and lots of pigeon poo so do I move it now before they do any more work on it or leave it?

Are we talking feral or wood?
If wood feed it up and shoot once nice & plump (serve with a dark chocolate sauce, roast potatoes & spinach)
If feral shoot it & chuck in the bin
