This is going to break all the rules. I didn't take this and it was taken more than half a century ago. But I did find the damaged negative, scan it and tidy it up. It's a photo of my Grandad - the severe looking gent, bang in the middle with the 'tache and the Nikon in his hand. He was truly a great man and died last year, aged 98.

That's a great picture user-removed. He must have had some interesting stories from cold war Russia. Any photos from your Dads camera?
If it wasn't for his incredibly strong morals, I would have said he was a dead ringer for a spy...

I'm generally apprehensive of putting photos in here, due to the serious quality that most seem to have (something mine lack!). But I'm proud of them in a different way I suppose (less of the technical skill and more of just being out there and doing stuff that looks nice in photos!).
