Will be spending a week camping in the peaks in May. Heading down for a stag/hen and extending it with a weeks camping.

Any recommendations for campsites, pubs, restaurants and walks we can do?

Have big tent with chairs, tables, carpets, windbreaks, electric hookup and all that other stuff people hate 😉, no kids though.

It's a reasonably sized area, where about do you want to stay. Lots of previous threads on here about it.

The honeypot area is Hope/Castleton. There are 3 public caves there as well as access to very decent walks including Jacobs Ladders and Kinder Scout, if walking I would also include the Roaches to include a visit to Lud's Church. There's great pubs in Castleton and Hope but the pubs are pretty good all over. Matlock Bath is a bit touristy and worth a visit also, they have cable cars there and public caves as well. Are you taking bikes? and if not,,, why not?

Big campsite in Hope might be a good bet.

It does get very busy in peak season.
Several decent pubs, loads of walks (can you sneak the bike in??!)

Will check for previous threads.

Got stag do activities near Buxton and wife likes the look of a campsite near there called beechcroft farm.

All our holidays tend to revolve around walking and food, so that's what we're likely to be doing most of the time.

Depending on car status, bikes may be coming, but probably just the bumbling bike rather than mountain bikes.
