I'm not dead good with computers, got a new laptop yesterday, and bought Norton 360 with it. Which i now realise may have been a mistake.
Anyway, i cant get it to install - put the disc in, start it. It says you need to restart for the installation to complete.
So i restart it. And it says its removing older versions. And you need to restart. and over and over.
So what am i doing wrong? should i give up and try something else? Any good free virus software?

Give up, now. Norton is worse than any virus IME. Avast is free (for home use) and works well. Easy to install, too.
Avg free is a good free one. Norton should be ok though try there customer support.
i know people who love norton.
i prefer avast - its small, effective, free, easy.......
norton is making me feel angry. might try it again.
Avast sounds familiar, might keep my blood pressure under control better than bloody 360
