MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I've seen much worse on a Tesco carpark. I had a blue and gunmetal cannonade once, on panaracer fire tyres. It reminds me of that.
Good job a Tesco's is just over the road, you'd never get any shopping in the boot 🙂
As above, I've seen worse.
It's not the kind of style I like by a long way but it does at least look well executed.
The speaker system is a bit on the timid side.
Would probably suit someone who rides a 29er and has a Saris Bones....
We have a Ford Ka done up like the Batmobile in a nearby street to us.
Gotta be worth £6995 for a giggle! 🙂
I'd have it!
INVOICES OF 50K ARE PRESENT
😯
Bloody hell...that was money well spent then.
[s]If you like that you'll love Barry Boys. A whole forum full of 'em![/s]
Dammit - sidetracked gawping at the hideous sheds on there & Flashy got in there first.
Damn, if only it was a manual, I don't do auto's! 😉

Thats one angry looking car!!!
I thought it was an Astra. Gopping IMO
The best (or worse) I ever saw was when I was a student. My housemate sold his xbox on eBay and a guy who smelt of wee drove nearly 100 miles to pick it up, he arrived in ford escort that he had greyhounds spray painted on the sides. One greyhound like Rocky Balboa while the other looked like a half rotten horse. He had fitted a boot spoiler which sat at an angle, the left was a good few inches higher than the right. He had tippexd the logos on the tyres and colour coded the wiper blades to match the huge rubber ariel he had installed. He informed us next was Cosworth style skirts... And then she's done. My female housemate declined his kind offer of a trip round the block in it. A few years ago my housemate emailed me a photo he got from Barryboys of a Carlton/cavalier that had been treated to similar upgrades wondering if it was the same fella. The greyhound car remains a legend to this day.
I thought it was an Astra
+1.
I thought it was an MG.
Another amazing thread, showing the genius of STW users 😯
Whoohoo!!!!
u iz al juz jelus
Oh my word...it mings...it munts...
That criticism could be levelled at every picture on this thread.
I like modded motors, as at least they're more inertesting than the blandmobiles most of you lot drive around in yes they are you know I'm right so shut up in your boring cars...
What's the difference between someone modding a motor, or having a blinged up 'niche' mounting bicycle with all trick bits? really?
Nothing. It's exactly the same form of attention seeking/attempt to gain the approval of your peers, just not quite as boldly done.
Which proves that most MTBers are insecure and lack self-confidence. You'd love to be as bold and adventurous as car modders, you're just too afraid of what other boring folk in their blandmobiles think....
Yeah, with yer five graynd watch and yer five graynd bike...
I'd have the Shane Ritchie one. Just for the grimace beneath the wing mirror.
Woman near us drives the legendary shane mobile
Well, it takes all sorts, and she's not doing anyone any harm. In fact, rather than mock, why not appreciate the fact that she is using the car to try to raise money for a cancer charity?
Look how they all went quiet when I pointed out the truth to them. Typical STWers; all mouth nowt of much inertest to actually say.... 🙄
See this car? It is a modded Seat Leon, and it is better than your car. So ner.

I honestly had no idea as I have seen it rather that googled it. However if the Daily mail is to beleived then
The tattooist is planning to open a shop in Chorley in the coming weeks and is hoping people will sponsor her car or give donations in a bid to raise money.
i dont know if anyone has but there is a new tattoo parlour in town which may or may not be hers.

Pot meets kettle?
Pot meets kettle?
No, because I am interesting and you avidly read all my posts on here and learn stuff what you din't know and that.
Let's see your car then. Come on, show us what an amazingly interesting person you are....
Probbly be so bland it'll send me to sleep.
If only
Elfin, you really want to see a picture of my knackered old Volvo V70?
Which functions excellently as a bike and dog transporter by the way
No I just don't think it's nice people sneering and being judgemental of others in the way they often are on here. So what if someone chooses to express themselves in an eccentric and unusual manner? does not in any way make them less of a person, does it?
Celebrate diversity; variety is the spice of life.
isn't that the point of this forum?

Yes I see what you mean there 🙄
your post to contradict self in a post is set at light speed these days 😥

When you celebrate diversity of political thought, or diversity of almost any opinion bar your own with such fervour, with such enthusiasm I shall take you seriously. Until that point......
I think all those look OK to be honest, except the shane mobile!

lamest troll in ages
Oh right, Flashy; like you do, eh?
Ha ha! You make me laugh! 😆
You're talking about 'diversity of political thought'? Flashy; what do you know about political thought other than what you read in't papers? Hmm? Seeing as, like, you never venture outside of your safe little bubble...
Anyway, mind telling me how that woman doing her car up with pics of popular EastEnders actor Shane Richie equates to politics, which affects our whole society? Strange pattern of thought there...
I totally celebrate 'diversity of political thought', as it give me something to be right about. 😀
Junky; only pointing out the truth about many people on here. Deep down, you know I'm right, too. Please don't cry.
See this car? It is a modded Seat Leon, and it is better than your car. So ner.
that sonny is proper minging, glad mine looks nowt like that! And I too do actually like modded motors, just tasteful ones 🙂
Why d'you think it's a 'troll', M6TTF? Why?
And that Leon is better than your car, it's a fact.
haha - coz bears shit in the woods
I don't understand how these cars are modified.
They might be, but we can't tell from the pictures.
Do you mean painted?
I think it's a special transfer type application. Y'know, how you get those iron-on transfers what you can do photies on and put on a t-shirt? Spensive, but quite popliar with advertising on vayns and buses and taxis and stuff.
To each their own.
I used to work with a guy who had stickers all over his car. One of them said 'Spoon'.
Does that mean anything to you?
I guess it is some kind of brand or something.
dont start the brand things going again jeez!
Is Keith Lemon talking to superman in that car or are they both standing behind? Strange perspective.
Poor troll is poor.
Yaawnn
A modified car (bodywork / engine) done well is quite interesting. Modding it in my eyes should add performance / aerodynmic improvememts. A cruddy BMW / Astra / Escort with some stupid bumper / spoiler / sills + big bore exhaust is just trying too hard. Plus doing it on a budget just won't work.
Personally I don't like obviously modded cars, but prefer the stealth look i.e. not immediately apparent. A BMW M5 I saw the other was a case in point (not modded per-se but you get the idea), it looked almost identical to a 530d that was behind it. Only if you spotted the front wing vents and the huuuge brake discs did you notice. That how I like my modded cars to be.
I quite like cars that have just a few stuck on flowers on them or something. Bit personalised. Nowt wrong with it, don't hurt anyone, no need to judge someone in a negative manner.
Political onions are an entirely different matter...
One of these days I'm going to buy a ridiculous car and proper tart it up, just to annoy the NIMBY sensibilities of some folk on here...
