How do real giant robots walk?

Every fool knows that real giant killer robots can't walk properly, as they can't get the hang of overbalancing like we do before they put their lead foot down, so the way they place their foot is very realistic IMHO.

It's OK but goes a bit Independence Day at the end...

Not sure about giant ones, but there's no need for the accelerated downward motion, if anything real walking biped robots are either frantically fast from start to finish or overly careful.

[nerd]
aren't the comments on how robots walk a little pointless?

i think the robots in 'panic attack' are slightly more developed than 'real' ones (as it is a sci-fi flick), and one assumes that the invasion was not human orchestrated, rather extra-terrestrial.

therefore those robots may be developed enough to walk in that manner.

also, for £180 or what ever it was for production costs, its rather damn good!
