I've got a pair of Merrell Moabs that have lasted me about 4 years but the soles are looking a bit smooth now.
I'll probably just buy another pair but anything else I should consider in the waterproof trainer / light walking shoe style of thing

What size shoes are you? I've got some chameleon GTX shoes in 11.5 I've been wanting to sell for a long tiiiiiiimmmmmmmmeeeeeee

I'd look at Innov8, especially the Roclite. They get great reviews on backpacking light forum.
On offer at Sportpursuit too this week.
