ummm, paint hand/foot prints from baby? Be careful baby doesn't eat the paint though! And don't use red/black/blue as she may worry you've been beating baby instead of painting with it...
pandora bracelet then your sortef for any occasion as your other half will get the catelogue and highlight the ones she wants etc
what emma said she wants something from baby not you - foot prints are generally easier to do than hand prints I did some on a plate so it can be kept for ever and /or on display

What's the obsession with pandora bracelets? They are pointless and expensive then every birthday/Xmas etc all you get is another crappy bead. They have become a bit chavvy for my liking to be fair.
What about umm, umm umm a nice meal cooked for her by her husband and father of her baby, but nice table settings not just the usual wack it on the table and hope for the best type stuff? Let's face it, ur baby don't give a toss so why don't you just take her out for a walk as a family, have a nice tea then some proper snuggles? Time costs nothing but means the most 😀

My Mrs is getting a pancake breakfast in bed, cooked by me and the little fella, a day feeding the ducks and messing about and aubergine parmigiana for tea.
All stops pulled out - apparently Delia has a recipe for pancake batter!

Pity the house is so small and has a tiny garden - still, I can see Stainburn Forest from the window.
This year I am going to get the girls up and do their breakfast then take them back up (fully dressed if I can work out my wife's clothes system - not managed it in nearly two years) and take her croissants and hot chocolate in bed with the girls. If I can find a nice daff somewhere, I'll pop that in a stem vase too.
Next year the girls can do it themselves 😉

Bunnyhop - thats really nice stuff and right up her street. Think I will get her something but for this occasion Im looking for more personal ideas really.
The photo bunting above is looking like a winner. I have a Mac and loads of pics so Im hoping I can do something creative.

BTW Carbon - I bought a little presentation box from Paperchase to put it all in for that finishing touch. And the best thing is that we can swap, change, add pictures whenever we want.
I hope she isn't expecting anything so creative again 🙁

I love the baby footprint thing - that would be fab! There are quite a few of these places around where you can go along and make a pot - see if you and the little one can make a pot together - or more likely a footprint in something.
(okay, I admit it - I think I saw something like this at my mum's from my nephew...)
