I needs me some of them there shoes but can't get them on amazon.co.uk.
Anyone know what would happen if I order from the German flavour? Sudden death or taxes?
In europe so no taxes. I ordered a bose speaker about a month ago and all was fine. Quick delivery too.
It's fine* - postage is all you'll pay and the website is up front about that
*I just had a failed purchase on there and did struggle to navigate the website as I couldn't find a translate button. Went OK in the end though and have been refunded (I need to check amounts - I think they've refunded the whole lot rather than just half as I received one of a pair of tyres. Not quite sure how I'd refund the refund, all in Deutsch)
I've ordered from .de when the same product was available from the same seller on .co.uk, no problems.
I'm in Spain and regularly order from .co.uk (and .com), the only problem I've found is that some products can't be sold to other countries, no doubt due to distributor deals/contracts. This seems to be mostly electronic goods, and as Amazon tells you when you go to pay it's at worst a minor inconvenience.
Setup your payment options and addresses in your uk account. You can use the same login details on the de (and any other amazon site). The payment details and addresses appear to be shared between sites but order history is per site. Use google chrome and there is a translate button which helps loads if you don't speak German (you load page and then translate and carry on browsing as if you hadn't translated it, very clever).
Also a good way to buy lego at less than uk prices (.fr seems good for this).
bedankt sich bei allen 😀
