Can someone please enlighten me. I have downloaded a map from here: http://sites.google.com/site/talkytoasteruk/ukmaps , have put it on the CF card for my Legend HCX, but have no idea how to open it within the device!?
Its really pi$$ing me off because I've had it for a while now and haven't been able to use it due to my technological ineptness!
Please help..
If it's anything like the Edge units there will be a GPSMAPSUPP.IMG file in the GARMIN directory on the card or internal disk; overwrite this with the downloaded file and it will magically appear.*

I did exactly that (i think)... but nothing.
Arghh
The file should be in the courses menu, i think thats where mine is from the Garmin Connect page
