Having waited all winter for some heat, not a chance of sitting indoors while it's sunny. That would be bloody stupid. Heat is good. More heat is more good.

Been close here today but sea fret and over hanging clouds in land meant it hasn't been hot, when the sun was out it was lovely though.

Find it hard to believe it's been too hot anywhere in the UK not to be able to sit out, yes it's warm but not that hot yet.

shower first thing this morning, then sunny all day. nice big thunderstorm in Morley less than 10 miles away about 4pm

the temp here now in South Devon at 8pm is 18C.. hotter apparently than Barcelona.. Bordeaux or Athens..

Rained most of the day in Edinburgh but it cleared out and I'm just back from lovely sunny ride out to the hills.

My son phoned me while on holiday in Turkey in the week - it was 13deg there and 26deg in parts of the UK that day.

My temp gauge on my bike pooter read 30.6ºC earlier. And then it seemed to get even hotter. Yesterday I took a shade reading and it was nudging 30ºC. I think it might be a degree or so out mind. Sez it's only 25/6 officially, but I think they take their readings in a cellar or something. I don't need a Met office report to tell me it's bloody hot!

Still some nutters drinking lager in the hot sun up at High Beech though. 😯

I'm oop north but even at 30 it's too hot. Last nights rain shower has cleared the skies so breakfast and then a short spin I reckon.

I had headache all day yesterday from not drinking enough the day before, not used to the heat, hangover symptoms without drinking isn't fun!

34 here at the moment, but should hit 40 tomorrow.
