I've used Juno records in the past but their stock is a bit hit and miss atm, who do use?

I'd have thought that the purpose of a record shop is to stock hits and misses. 🙂

New or used?
Discogs is always good for most releases, even pretty obscure stuff.
Some business/shop sellers on there too, so you can get minty unopened copies if that's your thing.
