The back-story is long and tedious, but suffice to say my non-PC literate father is looking for some parts for a long-out-production Ford and muggins has agreed to have a go at sorucing them for him 🙂

In the past, I have successfully used one of those websites where you upload a request for parts which is passed onto various breakers yards who then email you back if they have the part and how much..... but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was..... 😕

A quick google suggests there are quite a few offering this service - anyone care to recommend one/a few before I just start hitting the list at random (no doubt receiving varying levels of spam/unsolicited calls along the way...)?

breakeryard is as good as any.
What part is it that you are looking for?
Have a look on ebay, put make model breaking in and see what comes up then phone or email them to see if they have what you are looking for.

EBay or hire a local scally to "source" the parts.

Init.!

Breakeryard does seem to top the google list - might give'um a whirl.

It's a driveshaft for a 84 or 85 MkII Granada.....it's a long story 😉

Not too far from me and my dad used to use this company for parts for his MKII Escort;

They specialise in Capri parts but hold stock for most old fords.
