As in, if you can build a case to show the economic policies a PM/Chancellor put in place, and the way the economy was managed/taxpayers money spent, DID cause a country to end up bankrupt, can they be charged and jailed - and if so what's the charge.
I'm not talking about what people THINK a government did, but whether it's possible to build a proper legal case to PROVE it. And if so, is there a mechanism to punish them for it, rather than just voting them out.
If not, where's the incentive to stop politicians from screwing up a country other than being kicked out by their electorate and going down in the history books as a disaster.
