it must be the most boring thing in the world, listening to 'when the going gets tough' over and over again. I HATE renewing car insurance 🙁 2 minutes and counting.
Hope you're not planning to do anything for a while then! Unless it's Kwik-Fit - they'll call you back.
'When the going gets tough' starts to sound very like 'Go and get stuffed' after a while...
wasn't too bad, 8 minutes in the end. 45 minutes was the longest I had. Never again
Wait a minute. . . surely they want your money. Phone someone else?
Thing that gets me with that is when they interrupt the muzak every minute or so to tell you how important your call is, so it sounds like someone's answered and you go "ooh!... oh" all the time.
Oh yes, I love having my hopes built up and dashed every 46 seconds (I was counting)
They speak to me within 30 seconds or I take my business elsewhere.
Why ring? This is exactly what the internerd is for.
Well I did go their site but it quoted me a more expensive price than the paperwork they posted me. Not a clue how these things work 🙁
Worth it if you saved some money at renewal though.
I find (direct line) if I put off renewing eventually they just call me.

You are all heart, those are my best qualities 😉
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday afternoon
I find if I put off doing something about renewing it gets renewed automatically, often at a higher price.
I make a point of always shopping around for car insurance about a month before renewal is due - which is approx 1 month after my birthday, which is a handy reminder to start shopping.
For example, last year I was with Swinton, the premium was going to go up from £32/month to £42/month - no way was I getting stiffed by a 25% rise, so I shopped around. my premium this year is £28/month
I saved £30, I pay yearly rather than monthly too which took it down a bit. I don't like using t'internet for stuff like that anyway, don't quite trust it for some reason.
get a quote online to renew. No need to talk to any call centres in this day and age if you do business with the right people
