1st coat of Hammerite on the collector. Also added a handle to make it easier to empty..

Ouch...that handle looks totally out of place 🙂

I'll make a smaller/metal one when I get the chance. I added that to make it easier to empty the collector as it's going to be a mower that gets used, not a display piece 😉

As I remember my dads old Atco..... the handle went at 90 degrees to the way your fitted it (and was metal) - might be wrong though.

Nice job on the resto although I'm firmly of the opinion that the paintwork should have been left as it was.

All done (bar the grips & decals which are on their way). Needs a bit of blade height adjustment but cut nicely:
