Sat at home with one eye on the footie, one eye on my laptop managing something happening at work and the other eye on here.

Who says men can't multi-task!

Edit:fajitas and a couple too many beers means I've escaped being dragged back into work (it probably also accounts for my third eye) 😉

Drinking homebrew, arguing with the offspring about when to have a bath, and deciding if I want to buy a Polish tube bending machine.

Painting my Mum's kitchen while she is staying at my sisters in Sheff.

Drinking at the same time, and pumping out the [url=

so the final coat might be a bit iffy.

...plus wiring in the new light switches should be fun 😀

Just do as your told Ben. I don't care if your friends get to stay up and watch The Sweeney.

Fantastic walk over Chrome Hill & Parkhouse, then Longnor tearooms for cake, then the Bull at Monyash for a pint.
Just got back and it's time to bore the kids with the Giro highlights.

All in all a top day.

Sat on the sofa with the dog and a beer trying to resist the urge to buy a road bike, neither the dog or the beer are helping me avoid explaining to the wife why there's another bike in the garage!!

Not long back from a family day out in Bridlington. Sunshine, paddling, mountains of 2p pieces on the penny falls, fairground rides and crazy golf to finish. Sunny and warm too, happy days.

I too have now moved onto the rum and I've narrowed my non bike buying to a nice looking trek on eBay, luckily the auction doesn't end till Sunday so no point bidding till then, which leaves me a couple of days to convince my wife that a road bike is a good idea!

Pet Plan have paid a fortune out for my Lab over the past 12 months and he had X Rays the other day and it came to nearly £600 just cost me my excess of £75.

I finished work just before 8pm and nipped out for an hour on the MTB, just had a Pastie, crisp and just chilling on here.

Gonna go bed in a bit as I'm at work at 8.45 and the Dogs will need walking before that.

Watching The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug - it's shit. He should never have been allowed to make it into three films and bugger about with the story so much, and it's completely lost the feel of the book in trying to make it into another LOTR. Meh.

Tried to find a film to watch on Netflix. Couldn't.
The wife and I are off to bed. Nothing special. I've got work early. Exciting times. On a plus side I'm going for a ride up the berwyns late afternoon tomorrow.

It's a lab that we are claiming on now. The day at our vets for x rays and a few meds to take home came to £900 ... Add to that the cost of each hip replacement that's on the agenda ( and she isn't even 3 yrs old ) and I can safely say to anybody getting a dog - make sure you get it insured!!

Just been called out to fix a problem on the DB server that really shouldn't be a problem.

It's a shame that our 'professional' services department seem to think it's ok to write their own scripts, not test them, not tell anyone about them and deploy them on a shared platform in the dead of night.

The best part is that i'm not technically on call till midnight so will have to fudge the bloody times or not get paid, what's that all about, really.

Sitting here thinking I should tidy up my office as we have people over for dinner (well pizza). Patio also needs sweeping. Wondering if 5pm on a Friday is too early for a beer.

But there are still a few threads on here I've not read, so maybe 10 minutes more won't hurt.

Picked up a large climbing frame / swing / slide thing this evening for my little girl's birthday tomorrow - ebay purchase. Unfortunately it took a couple of hours to dismantle and load in the van, so got in around 11pm - too late to put it together for her tomorrow morning.

Or was it too late? By the nine it was not! Climbing frame now stands proud in the back garden, and I am walloped. Hope she likes it...
