I had a look at this, then saw that he was also selling a 1999 Santa Cruz Superlite for £300
Seller is offering two bikes for sale, but has only one previous transaction on the site. Given the lack of detail on the Canyon, it all looks a bit suspicious.
I thought that the bikes may be stolen, so tried to report it to Greater Manchester Police via the new 101 non-emergency contact number. I was treated to a lecture from the call centre lady about how they couldn't act on the information without some sort of address, so I'd have to contact my local police force and they would decide how to act on it! So much for trying to be a good citizen.
However, I'm not giving up yet, mainly because if I'd had a Canyon Nerve 9AM and a Santa Cruz stolen, I'd want them back.
So, does anyone know anyone in the Greater Manchester area who's had these bikes nicked in the last few weeks?
