We're thinking about doing a road trip this summer in the silly car and fancy the NC 500. Plenty of info online, but mostly of the highly touristy variety.
So what's to be recommended in the way of more "off the beaten track" outdoorsy based stuff? Happy to walk/scramble etc. Castles and other historic stuff very much of interest too.
We're planning to go up via Glencoe/Fort Bill (A82?) and back down the A9, so add bits round there in too!
