£20 inc VAT a month plus a good bundle on 3.
Not really fussed about android-stuff or fancy apps.
Is it a reliable and fairly robust phone?
its a Nokia, it will be a nagging disappointment relieved only by theft, loss or breakage. I sold my n97 to the Catfood Whorehouse who paid about £150 for it as scrap, I'm currently trying to come to terms with the fact that by doing so I may have prolonged someone else's misery.
Been using Nokia's for ages, they work well enough as a phone, I can text and make phone calls. That's what they are right? a mobile phone?
Can't comment on the E5 model as I've not used it but all of the Nokia's I have used have been robust enough (3310, 5210, 5410i, E71). My next one will hopefully be a E7
e5 is nice & cheap though screen is worse than E71 (not transreflective). Also still S60 3rd edition with tweaks.
Nice and cheap is fine. TBH I'm appalling with breaking everything I touch.
I still have a builders 3mobile Samsung phone
which resides at and is commonly know as:And S60 3rd edition

I have a Nokia E51 and it is a steaming pile of Poo! Not sure when Nokia stopped making simple well built phones that just worked well for a good couple of years and started producing crap. Don't think I will choose a nokia again for some time.
Which one should I get then?
Also high on the criteria is a good built-in camera.

Not a full qwerty keyboard?
I've got one of these
So Im attempting to come in from the 'cold'. I haven't the foggiest what Qwerty is but it looks 'fancy' to me.
I've never really been into a mobile phone shop (unless I had a AK47 with a full magazine) and iPhones are for XFactor watching homosexuals as far as I'm aware.
There. I think that says what I know/think about phones!
Problem with iPhones is that there tends to be a £20 iPhone tax on every contract. Mrs Ache just got a blackberry 9300 (I think) and it really does seem good. Will hopefully be getting something of simular quality soon.
Hora look at the first 6 letters in the top row of your keyboard spels qwerty doesnt it. What do you think it means?
Ah, its basically a proper lettered-keyboard on a phone.

Buy and iPhone and you'll be looking back fondly on that E51 as the good old days...
Lad in the office sometimes says 'ah, hello, hello....ah hes cut off' with his.
I've got a Nokia E51, it's 2 yers old and still going strong - 5 days on a full battery, always reliable, does internet and email quite adiquately once you've got the hang of it, not the most easy to use I'll admit thought.
I'd had a few previous Nokia's which were rubbish but the E51 has changed my mind a bit - will probably have another Nokia when it dies and would definitely have one over most i-phones (which as far as I can tell never really work after the 6th or 7th update)
Ordered the Nokia N8. 3 came through with a stunning deal.
