cant find the difference between these 2 phones. the music edition is more expensive and the bumph says its tailored towards playing music and vids etc, but why and how?

if both phones have an 8Gb memory card and will play mp3s, then whats the 'real' difference between them?

FWIW i will be using my ipod for my music, so im thinking the normal 5800 will probably do me, but im just wondering what id get if i paid extra.

thanks 🙂

I thought (and I may be wrong) that the music edition gives you a year's free downloads.

ah right, thanks.

so theres no difference in the phone or software, just free downloads then. so if im happy with my ipod, and the music i already got, then theres no point paying extra for it then 🙂

cheers

I've got a Nokia 5800 and I also had an ipod nano.

When I got the phone I transferred the ipod playlist onto the phone.

Nokia Music is pretty rubbish, but it's possible to transfer stuff downloaded from iTunes onto a pc onto your 5800.

No, music quality is just as good on the 5800 as on a nano.

If I want to listen to good quality music I listen to the CD or VINYL versions I have at home.
