Pretty poor IMO, firmly in decline, will no doubt keep going for a while.

You have to wonder how Clarkson felt about it given his knowledge of and fondness for war WWII.

I enjoyed easy entertainment and stunning back drops.

Loved the party scene the genuinely seemed to enjoying themselves and what a memory getting drunk with Burmese Generals.

Loved it, and so did my 10 year old. Excellent entertainment with the occasional educational moment.

I had to leave the room during the marrow, Black Cock sequence, as I didn't want to explain why I was laughing so much. He's a fairly "aware" 10 year old, but that bit was right over his head.

I love all these driving round the developed world nonsense, having had a go myself.

I think that nearly decapitating May with a crane was a low moment, where Clarkson really misjudged it

I find the increasing War history component bizarre ad amusing

Overall glad I watched it

Really?

I did a double take there.

What a fabulous looking place though. Prime MTB country.

It wasn't real.

None of it is real.
How much real driving do you reckon they did, other than when being filmed?

The banger racing documentary was excellent again.
Want a go.
£250 to hire a car for a meeting.
What could possibly go wrong?

Of course none of it is real.

The bridge was clearly made of steel clad in bamboo (I'm hoping it was built at that location for a reason and will be left for the locals to use). The bridge didn't deflect at all!

I got the feeling that the mirth displayed at the golden shower was actually the real deal. Best episode for a good long while imo.

the road trip episodes are their best output

and, you know full well what you're getting with this show - some amusing juvenile antics, finely filmed scenery, the odd educational moment... I'm not sure I quite get the anti-top-gear sentiment TBH

unless clarkson's urethra is the width of a bottle cap and his urine evian clear then it definitely wasn't.
