Anyone washed softshell stuff and reproofed with TX direct? I have gallons of TX, would rather not fork out for the proper softshell proofer on top...

I've used the softshell proofer, and it didn't seem to do much in the way of proofing, if that helps!

Used it on soft shell with good results. I always steep mine in a basin with 40deg water for about 30mins. Never used it in a washing machine.

You can use tx direct on almost anything - it even "proofs" jeans for a little while!
