I've never been to Tenerife - however we're booked to go next year for a couple of weeks.
Has anyone had any experience hiring a motorbike for a day or two - not a scooter? What are the roads like, is it worth it? Would I be best taking my own kit - jacket / gloves / helmet / / jeans / boots?
Any advice welcome. Especially if you've been to the island frequently enough to call it Elevenerife 🙂
I stayed near Los Gigantes about 7 years ago, the place hiring road bikes nearby was a motorbike shop, Motostyle Tenerife, renting scooters and motorbikes. Not a biker so can't help much with the rest. Roads good, plenty to see round the coasts and up the mountain.
Cheers MLC - there are a fair few places that rent them out I'll drop them a line. Their websites are all fairly poor so I was hoping for some personal experiences.
