They are usually quite good.
Our 5 year old pc box is really slow now and I have been told its had it! Maybe linux and a load more RAM may do it, then again myaybe not.
Any better PC boxes for £400ish?
Need something that can sit nicely in lounge, surf the net and act as a media centre (record tv, play music, store DVDs - if thats possible). It can use our old CRT TV.
I believe that Sony has some Apple look-a-like thing now for the lounge.

Does look quite good but has Vista unfortunately (as will all new PCs of course).
