Not MTBing, not even cycling - but walking.
Can anyone recommend a good long walk in the New Forest? All the official ones I can find are on the short side. We're looking for an all-dayer.
Or at least an all-afternooner
Or at least a whole bunch of highlights I can string together.
TIA.

Possibly no more than 3 hours but you could add some distance by going to woodgreen
Park keyhaven walk to Lymington eat walk back. There is a variation to make it a circuit but need to look at the is map. Easy to work out.
I don't have a description but if you head up to godshill area there are some nice walks to be mapped out.
Try and include Rhinefield Arboretum, magical.

Two Cars? Park one at Frogham and one at Fritham and walk between the two. Only one car? There is a loop so the return from Fritham is along a different track for about 1/2 the journey.
The views from the top of Hampton ridge are great, there is a submarine pen* en-route, you walk close to a lot of WW2 bombing ranges/target for interest and the pathfinding is easy as it is mostly gravel fire roads.
Added bonus is the nice pubs at each end.
*actually not a real submarine pen as it is miles from the coast, but it was constructed to test the bombs designed to destroy the pens at St Nazairre.
Lovely stuff. Thanks, team.
