My Mrs wants a new PC, only a tower, any recommendations? Want to spend up to £300, only for surfing and photos n'stuff,

A company called Asrock make some nice small units. Alternatively Dell or Lenovo, I got a great refurbished Lenovo tower off eBay for £180ish.
If it is just for net and limited work try an ipad.
