Been having some long debates on the K7 750, due to circumstances, apart from the TRC Extravaganza and a trip to Portimao, I don't see my getting out on track much at all.

However, the missus did love the riding position/style of the K7 so I decided if it was going to go it would be for something suitably compatible.

bike will be used for trackdays, the odd commute and the odd road riding day trip.

Standard K7 600 was bought and paid for today.

Pretty looking forward to it.

It's going to SCREAM like a banshee, but that's cool, I can live with that.

Insurance is buttons, so that's excellent.

13,000 miles on the clocks, great condition, FDSH, standard parts only.

I know nothing at all about motorbikes but that looks very nice.
Now, be careful out there.

Wrong colour for Suzuki should be blue and white.

Something like this ...

Or this ...

[img] [/img]

White is the new black and make sure you light up like Xmas tree if you are going all black coz I cannot see you.

Better still if you can add reflective decals for the entire bike or most of it.

I mean seriously if you watch youtuu on bike crash you will have them on ...

Doesn't cost sheds loads to change bikes every 10mins !?

Insurance hassle!

What happened to the KTM? Not that they're well built mind but still when they work they perform good.

No mate, I sold the 750 its replacing for a £700 profit.

Insurance is £96 for the year.

I like different bikes for different jobs, this months bike needs to be road/track/wife friendly.

Dunno mate, that's the figure on go compare lol. I'll spend more though as Bennets give me all the extras for £135 which is cool with me.

600s are a lot of fun when you're in the right mood. Very different to the Tuono. (I went the opposite way from ZX6R P8 to the Tuono) !

SO the 600 K7 turned up and was horrific.... massive repair on the swingarm... I wasn't a bit happy.

Told them I was rejecting it and to put it back in the van.

Last night I spent about 3 hours trawling the WWW, then finally came upon what I really liked...

I decided to weigh it up this morning on a long MTB ride, got home and within 5 mins of phone calls to the dealer it was provisionally agreed and sold. Bit of a drive down to view and it's paid in full and ready for collection.

So I bought this K6 750. !

bike is 2 owners, brothers, first owner didn't get on with it much so sold it to his brother. (65 and 62 years old LOL)

One of them worked at Crescent Suzuki who supplied the bike from new in Alstare Corona colours.

Obviously it's a complete love/hate thing the paint, but personally I love it.

Higher miles than I had planned on having a bike at 21,000 but you know what, the condition is good enough so I can accept that.

The price was superb, comes with warranty and service etc, so all ready to roll.

Condition, well there's a little paint bubble on top of swingarm, a little paint issue on the fairing lower join, but can be easily touched up. Apart from that it's spot on. I've got the standard exhaust so if I wanted I could even free up £250 selling on the Arrow can, but TBH, it's nice so i'll likely leave it on there I think.

Very happy with it.

Mrs Weeksy is the same with this as I am with Marmite, she absolutely hates it LOL. But you know what, it will go well and she'll love riding it.

The yellow colour is much better for visibility as I think you are asking for trouble with the black one.

Did you buy it from the same people? Do they accept your rejection of the black one?

Completely different place mate.

They accepted it yes. But TBH once they'd seen the pictures, they couldn't really argue.

Ride carefully and enjoy.

I would still make the bike glow with those reflective stuff ...

Love the Corona paint. Got to ask, do you have a matching Corona fleece to over your leathers? 😆

The Corona paint always reminds me of Cadbury's Caramel.
