Yeah. Released today, mind wasn’t on homepage, had to search for it

Cheers, it came up on Facebook in the meantime, so maybe they've launched the publicity today.

Looking forward to it, big fan of Ms Lawrence.

Been enjoying series 1 of Ragnarok on Netflix. Misfit lad in small town in Norway discovers he's Thor.

I need to get through a few things on netflix, but having finally got round to haunting of hill house it was pretty good, season 2 of the witcher again was good, moved the story along and was entertaining, Expanse is back on amazon prime, wish they'd do the season in one rather than this once a week rubbish, makes it a nightmare to keep up with, especially the last season.

I was gonna watch 'dont look up' but that scathing review put a spanner in the works, it's just like TripAdvisor

So watched 'argo' instead. Relly enjoyable although obviously late to the party

Watched Don't Look Up last night, it really has a great cast, and there's a good story in there, it's just doing too much over the movie, and at 2hrs 20 it's not short.

If it had cut out a few of the sub plots it would've worked better, but i guess they had so many stars to fit into this, and so many offshoots from the plot to fit them into it just got very busy, and a few of the stereotypes being used were pretty much sledgehammered into the story, rather than subtly done like you'd get in a UK satirical style film.

Don’t look up.
Kind of enjoyed it but tbh mainly because I’ll watch anything with Cate Blanchett in it.
It did drag on though.

Watched Don't look up tonight. I was quite invested in it, the Mrs was bored senseless.

It does drag a bit though. Quite like how they portray the American President as a complete arse, in spite of the fact that she's female (Meryl Streep) though and also the cynical character assassination of the billionaire tech mogul

I quite enjoyed Dont Look Up….but it was background TV, watched it whilst doing the wrapping of kids presents. I’d also had 3 beers before starting the film and that probably helped.

It's as magnificently Stupid as series 1. Right from the start, I was worried that they'd exhausted the supply of Stupid, but they kept finding new veins. Season 2 is just more refined Stupid. Not to everyone's taste, granted, but it is the most purely refined distillation of Stupid Entertainment I've seen in years.

I find the witcher quite easy watching stuff, it's not trying to win awards or be extremely complex, it's just a series that's built around dungeons and dragons stuff without too much thought, compared to the wheel of time, it's way easier to watch, follow and care about!

Shadow and Bone on netflix is similar in being easy to watch, but is a bit watered down, i'm struggling to buy into many series just now, all the online stuff does seem to be a bit hit and miss these days, i think they panicked a bit after a few failures and now have a bit too much oversight now on a lot of it, or are trying to hit all the audiences all the time, which is just a recipe for disaster!

Not Netflix, but Prime...

Wayne

Very, very funny.

Ep 1 sets the scene and isn't that comedic, but stick with it. Very, very funny thereafter.

after thinking we'll watch 'dont look up' ^^^, i mistakenly selected 'this way up'.

what a pleasant surprise, really enjoyed it. 1 series on netflix, the other on all4 or iplayer, cant remember now. all about an Irish lass suffering with low self-esteem and her relationships with family and boyfriends. its funny, and really well written and acted.

i recommend it.

Death to 2021 isn’t funny,  just seems to be an advert for other Netflix shows?

Aye, I agree Death to 2021 just doesn't work. Philomena Cunk needs Barry Shitpeas and Charlie Brooker needs to be on screen ranting...

The voiceover is to dry, it really does need an angry anchor to make it kick.  It's not like the yanks can't cope with it, bring in Jon Stewart or John Oliver.

One to watch with the kids is Robin Robin. It's really good! Watched it for a second time a few days later and it was just as good, really dense and well put together. Richard E Grant's Magpie steals the show.

Been waiting for it for a while as friends did the music. Very worth the wait!

I thought Don't Look Up was quite good.

Could have been very good with some tighter editing.

I thought Don’t Look Up was quite good.

I thought it was heavy handed and also its very difficult to parody Trump and post truth media when they are already self parodies.

As above the Witcher is an an easy watch, but it did seem a particularly slow season that suddenly wrapped all the action up in one episode.

Arcane is the best series I've watched all year though. Not normally a fan of animated shows but the art style, acting and plot are all incredible.

Death to 2021 was alright. Not anywhere near as good as screen wipe days though. Good to see Tracey Ullman after her stint on curb your enthusiasm

I think Charlie Brooker is Netflix's golden goose at the minute

I don't think Barry shitpeas got past the first round table with the US production staff

I agree with you, but it was still decent IMO. Not Armando Ianucci quality, but a solid three stars: enjoyable, overlong with some great performances and some funny lines.

Jonah Hill was particularly good as Donald Trump Jr, or whatever they called him in it.

Yep, Don't Look Up gets a 👍🏻 from me. Thought it was great, as someone earlier said it's a bit heavy handed but I still thought it worked well.

Silent Sea is excellent. Its a Korean Sci Fi mini series better watched in Korean with Subtitles as the dubbing is very wooden, but its a very good watch.
