Nice. Just saw this flying over Surrey. Not seen one before. Going at a fair old lick

Goblin jet engine has a very distinctive sound. The Swiss flew Vampires and Venoms long after we stopped flying them. Nice little aircraft, although I do prefer the Meteor, there’s a couple at Cotswold Airport, Kemble, being restored to flying condition, one has flown recently, I believe.

Is that a genuine Norwegian Vampire, or a redressed UK example?

Love a vampire.

Probably something to do with reading the shepherd when I was wee.

I saw one in the flesh a few weeks back at the RAF museum, it was surprised by how small it was but it looked amazing.
