We went last year as I quite like Ned B. It was a strange mix of stuff. Part stand up. Some of it was 'knowing stuff' aimed at the target market (must have been a good 80% cyclists in the audience) and part of it 'aren't cyclists crazy?'. A bit at odds, really.
Some of it was just plain crap, tbh. Silly props for doing stories about the tour. However there were also some nice stories about riders from the 'inside'.
On balance it was ok. Would I go again? Probably not.

I went last year to the one at Clapham Junction and really enjoyed it. Would definitely go again.

I always liked his column in cycling plus so could be quite entertaining.

How could you tell, did they do a 'hands in the air if you're a cyclist'?

I think he would be funny. I enjoyed his book How I Won the Yellow Jumper. It's just a pity he's in Stockport and on a Monday evening.

Saw him at the Edinburgh Book Festival last summer and he was great to listen to. Very engaging and pretty knowledgable about most things cycling. Talked to him after and he was just as pleasant off stage as on. Well worth going to see him if you get the chance.

Went last year in Leamington, wasn't the great 'reveal all' I was expecting.

I got stuck next to the guy who did the inner tube challenge at a very understaffed bar. I thought I was a bike geek.

I enjoyed it, if you do go, don't sit in the front row. He gets a bit spitty when he goes on a rant.
