Doubt it, everybody and anybody can set themselves up as a "trail builder" as can people offering "skills" courses, it is all totally unregulated 🙄

What Joe says.

Bike Park Wales may be a good option, only full time "park" being maintained. All other trail centres are done by contractors as and when required or volunteer groups afik

Unless you do so already, you will learn alot from attending 'official' Volunteer Trail building days. Many up and down the county who all could do with more help. Such as

^ Great!

Still, the IMBA books will help you to understand why things are done the way that they are. They'll also help you to understand why certain problems have developed on a particular part of the trail.
