Well, once I've finished my placement in Sunny Ethiopia I will be moving to Glasgow with my intended. Obviously there is a whole lot of biking for me to discover, but the main thing on my mind at the moment is work- can anyone point me to a decent IT recruitment agency?
And what's the market like at the moment?

Network Admin- can do IT Support as well.
Been in Ethiopia for the last year setting up a network in a teacher training college.
As such I am now very very good at cleaning viruses off memory sticks.

try s1jobs for a bit more of a regional site than jobserve, cwjobs etc.
wouldnt recommend any particular agent just go with any that have real jobs.

And a few threads recently have stressed the importance of LinkedIn at the moment. Especially for IT.
I might be moving to Dundee at some point in the next 12 months, so I'll see what I can find on the websites suggested. IT too...
I'm in IT. (It's STW, course I am) And am from the Glasgow area.
I changed jobs last year, and it took me 18 to 24 months applying and interviewing to do so.
I applied for loads, and the word from recruiters is, they have never seen so many applicants for each post.
S1 jobs etc are all very well, but most posts on there are on every other job site and get deluged with applications.
Can't speak for the usefulness of LinkedIn, worth a shot I guess.
The Glasgow Herald on a Friday has a job section in it. It's pretty sparse these days, but it'll pick up again, I'm sure... 😛
