Is it possible? If so, how? I kind of suspect I can move all my own media across but anything I've purchased from the store won't work on the new system.

My existing hard drive is near full and I've another desktop I could run as a media centre but would need to move all the files over to it and ideally be the 'master' system.

Thanks.

Yes it's possible there is no reason why you would lose any purchased songs either.

If only the iTunes UI was as good as those of the Apple portable device's!

yes - but you will need to "authorise" the new computer as one of the five on your iTunes account to use itunes purchased tracks.
