All welcome.
Fancy a repeat of the last one (without the weather).
Open to suggestions on destinations, but I can highly recommend a return to Welsh hills with Gilo....
Who is up for laying down tyre marks on Welsh mountain roads?
Yes please! Although weekends are often busy nowadays.
I will be in South Wales on the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend, happy to say hi somewhere but am on a strict schedule so wont be able to stay long.
ooops
What?
Me? I will be on my motorbike on the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend in South Wales, if you were going to go from say Abegavenny to Llandovery or up to Lampeter then I could say hi in Aber but cant go for the whole day.
Just wondered what the oops was ๐
Bit of a while yet, but I have Oct 8th off work (its me 40th). That would be an ideal day for me, but I'll have to be back for about 5pm latest.
๐ it was a double post ๐

Ha ha ha ha............
Oi, I must be considerably younger than yow ๐
Your bike fixed Hammy? You want to come along?
Going to Cadwell on Monday on 'Tigerpig'
Would love to ride Cadwell
Only just Dave ๐
Bike is sorted bud but if it's any of the Bank Holidays then you know where I will be :-/
No point trying to find flowing roads in bank holiday traffic. All we want is not find any Welsh sunshine.
October 8th works for me.....
Oct 8th is a Tuesday, so should be nice and quiet, well apart from the ride there and back ๐
Could be interesting ๐
Not sure I'll be able to do a Tuesday, but I'm definitely up for another Welsh ride. I've discovered some more great roads since the last one too ๐
If you guys come up with some dates I'll make it if I possibly can.
I would be up for something but dont like too much motorway, rattles my filings loose on the old single.
Anagallis_avensis...once at the gate to nirvana(Chepstow) no motorways allowed. ๐
How about this circular route from Chepstow?

90 miles, and with a choice of cutting the top part off if running short of time - I have a ride from Portsmouth and back as well!

Superfii - that route's not bad, but there's far better around. If you let me know how long you want to ride for once over the Severn bridge (factoring in tea and cake stops ๐ ) I'll put a route together if you want.
Could always do Boff's Cheddar run on the way there.....
Tell us more about cheddar....
That's my Cheddar run BTW - I showed Boff it ๐
Problem is, I've got to be back by 5pm, so need to get to Wales by 9-10am really. Gilo, I was counting on being in Wales for 4 hrs, inc 1hr lunch stop, so thought 100mile or so was about right? I just chose some roads off bestbiking roads ๐
Gilo, what do you have in your back pocket for the route?
I'll be at Cadwell on Monday also, need to sort out a decent route from North Manchester
