Thought my parcel was rather heavy - I'c only ordered some cables. Inside was also a chainset!

Anybody want to buy a 105 double chainset?

did they charge you for it, or just for the cables?

I assume you are going to return it and ask for a refund?

I got a CRC waterbottle in my last parcel - I thought it was a present.

I must admit I would be tempted to stay hush if I got it for free.

How much and does it come with BB? actually let them (CRC) know and do the right thing.

No different to stealing...

hmm. if they charged you for it - send it back and demand the postage costs. if they didn't, then I wouldn't bleat about it on a public forum unless you're planning on returning it!

I've been waiting 5 days for new brake hose from CRC, I'm just hoping that its delayed because they have not put enough postage for the XTR chainset in it. 🙂

Do the right thing - email them and alert them.

are my 2 Clarks Brake Cables in your box too? It's been two weeks, I could have made my own, or even visited a shop and bought them.

They didn't charge me for it - in fact it's not even on the delivery note. Not theft as it was sent unsolicited, though even if it was something I wanted my personal morals would get in the way. At some point I'll get round to letting them know and suggesting they come and collect it - no way am I wasting my time repackaging and going to the post office with it (see justification for people charging more for P&P on ebay than the cost of the postage).

I'd assume it explains why it wasn't dispatched until yesterday despite ordering 9am Monday, but recent threads on here suggest they no longer do same day dispatch anyway.

105 chain sets aren't that expensive, I'll wager they will let you keep it rather than go to the expense of getting it picked up.

I'll have it off you. Brand new you say... I'll give you 80% of what you paid for it 😉

95% of the time they are spot on, give them a break!

send it back or sell it and give to charity.

mikey-simmo: pretty sure it said when the clarks cables would be restocked no?

That might be becuse they are charging you for Posting and Packaging not just the posting cost?

Isn't that to keep the commission costs down?
