Took a camera in for warrantee repair. It came back 25 days later fixed.

A few days later I noticed they (Currys/Cannon) had damaged the screen while it was away. It's now back with Currys to get fixed. Was told it's likely to take another 3 weeks.

So the first time it was away - repair under warrantee. Second time repair due to damage they caused.

Currys rules are that if it takes more than 28 days for repair then you are entitled to a replacement. As I will be without my cam for atleast 6 weeks should it apply to me?

well you could try and ask for a exchange or replacement, stating that you have no confidence in the repair agent they use, because of the damage caused to your camera.

Is it out of the standard 12 month warrantee?

I think the 28days would apply to a single repair...not two combined.

You said yourself it was fixed when it came back the first time.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the edible type of currys. Damn... I'm a bit of an expert there.

Yea but the second time it not a warranty repair. It's a repair from damage caused while in there care.
