I have a number of what I would term minor health issues which as I have recently increased my training regime have become more readily apparent. These are a ganglion on my wrist, a hernia on my stomach, sore knee with some sort of gristle on the kneecap and a intermittent pain in my hip from a fracture 12 years ago.

If I wanted to get these matters looked at, and potentially resolved medically, what would be my best option? I don't necessarily want to go to the GP with a list of ailments and rattle through them in the 10 minute appointment, and I though health check ups were more for cholesterol etc. I would appreciate any suggestions based around similar experiences please?

Letter or e mail before appointment 💡

From my own experience they will just tell you to politely mtfu 🙄

After yesterday's ride I have so many aches similar to yours and am very tempted to sell up and take up dominos and beer 😆

I'm 36 and cycle about 150 miles per week. The knee and hernia cause me the most problems.

I would tackle one thing at a time, have a plan, stick to it.
Most of us have minor health issues that we try to ignore.
