We will be in touch
Got thoroughly ravaged by the little b@st@rds this weekend. Usually they are mildly annoying, leave a red dot for a couple of days and that's it. But this time, they itch as much as mozzi bites! Have I become allergic to them? Will I ever be able to visit Scotland in the summer again?!
DEET in high concentrations is the answer
Antihistamines FTW
Visit before the middle of June.
Repel 100 is your friend
I was told midges were immune to DEET? Hard to believe actually, it's horrible stuff. Melts my skin, I'm sure of it...
I have been midged during May. I think there's a two week gap between the snow disappearing and the midges arriving 🙁
DEET works well on midges. Better than anything else - Al is right that after you get bitten antihistamines may help
