Witnessed a very strange "dance" on the motorway tonight. Car which has just overtaken me pulls in behind the MLOC member I'm catching up. Oh - I need to move over two lanes even earlier now, to overtake two cars, not just one - what is that car who's just overtaken me up to? Then as I'm just about to go past the back car, they both start moving into the left lane. As I get alongside the front car I work out what's going on - the back car has flashing blue lights in it's front grill. Result! (Also a good reason not to undertake cars in the middle lane!)
Last time I had something similar to that happen the two cars separated, spread across two lanes, then dance too and fro not letting me past. Bunch of muppet kids in civics.
