I looked at metcheck a few weeks back and the data just looked wrong, and just looked at it now for a particular event this weekend and it says sunshine from now all through the weekend, but with warmer temperatures at night and cooling down in the day time ?!!?

Metcheck used to be good, whats going on with it?

IIRC it was good until the owner got sent down for raping a teenage boy.

I use netweather.tv or yr.no now

I used to rate Metcheck for its overall weather conditions reports. Found it to be very accurate up to 14 days in advance for whether it'd be wet or dry, sunny or overcast, windy or not etc, though I felt that it always said it'd be colder than it actually turned out to be. But have also noticed in the last few months that it seems to be all over the place. No idea why, but you're not on your own in noticing that something is awry!

stick to yr.no it's reliable, has a great mobile site and actually as far as I know has no links to grooming 🙂

Stoner - wow been looking for a site for ages that has pressure charts, never liked BBC TV weather since they dumbed down and got rid of the pressure charts (which is the most useful bit)

Will try YR

The three I use & have found most reliable/accurate:

yr.no
accuweather.com
xcweather.co.uk

The meteogram on yr.no is great - good widget for Androids available too.

Look at different forecasts, stick head outside, pack a shower proof jacket and hope for the best.

This is England or U.K. The weather is naff, should be used to it! Nope me neither.

xcweather wind forecasts are very reliable, all my sailing mates use it too.

Clubber - which is the yr.no Android widget? I've got the app, but the separate Widget in the Play Store/Market gets poor reviews

Thanks for linking the yr.no site, just saved it to my home screen. I usually use WeatherPro, which I find to be pretty accurate, and I love the satellite view and the radar, which give a really good idea of how the weather's progressing.

Yr.no and windguru.cz are the only ones I use now. Sorry Joe Bastardi.
